This palette from Two Faced is a new summer favorite! Not only does it smell great when applying the colors are super pigmented and last the entire day. This is a multidimensional eyeshadow palette infused with peach and sweet fig cream that will really make your summer eyeshadow looks pop!
I wore this recently on vacation and it was the perfect everyday palette for a subtle shimmer on the eyelid especially when you are going for a natural look.

A few weeks ago my husband and I attended the 10th annual Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic in Liberty State Park. Now if you are anything like me, this is an event that calls you to raise your fashion stakes on to full blast, as there is no room for shrinking violets here. Expect to see plenty of bright colors, lots of polka dots and ruffles and lots of perfectly polished skin on display, and that’s just the men lol.
Think Julia Roberts in the polo scene in Pretty Woman. Or Megan Markle when she attended the polo in her simple white sleeveless polka dot ensemble. One thing to remember is you will be doing plenty of walking on grass and might even ‘stump a divet’ or two so comfortable shoes are essential.
I chose to wear my navy Gucci Marmont block heels (see blog post here) and they were the perfect choice for me. Essentially you’ll be standing for a full day- so comfort is key!
It was such a brilliant day out and we met some amazing people there. If you are interested in going I suggest you get your tickets early as they sell out super fast.

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since our precious Audrey Faith came into this world! It still feels like it was only yesterday that we were holding her in arms being only 1 day old!
The past year of being a mom of two delightful daughters has taught me many things. Among them is a fact that Audrey has taught me – and that is to be more patient and calm. This has been such a benefit to both girls. Audrey is a real sweetie – she is bright, funny and smart and she brings so much love and joy into our family. She loves to sing and babble, has started pointing to objects and definitely has a preference for her mommy, daddy and big sister over everyone else, which of course is natural.
She loves being with her big sister Ellie and they are so adorable together. Ellie is the best at making her laugh! She loves when I sing her nursery rhymes like Itsy Bitsy Spider and the Grand Old Duke of York, which is her favorite song. She goes mad with giggles each time we sing. She is truly a joyous soul.
For her 1st birthday we are celebrating tonight with a nice family meal, glass of champagne and cupcakes. Tomorrow is her birthday tea party where she will celebrate in style with a few baby friends. I’ll be sure to post pics of the party decor here. Can’t wait to celebrate!

I love tea and I love cake, so what better excuse to indulge in my love of culinary confections and a caffeinated cuppa than through a beautifully presented tea party in honor of our super sweet baby Audrey who was turning 1. This post is long overdue – but better late than never, right?
Our food selection was pretty simple, tea and light refreshments which consisted of finger sandwiches, Scones and jam, and a grazing table. The grazing table is an Australian idea which is basically a selection of snacks stylishly placed right on the table. Usually brown packaging paper or a burlap runner is placed on the table and the food is arranged on top. This grazing style is fun and whimsical and adds depth of selection to the food offerings. Best of all it is surprisingly was easy to do! All you need is brown packaging paper, a few dishes for your dips, and your imagination on how to style the food.
We had a wonderful time celebrating with good friends. Our friend who is a harpist performed and that added a touch of elegance to a relaxed baby filled afternoon.
I decorated with traditional pink and gold to celebrate her milestone birthday. Decorations were super easy to source through Amazon, and I put together charming goody bags with personalized stickers created on Vistaprint.
We had a lovely day celebrating Audrey’s 1st year with our family and friends. It was such a joyous occasion and an elegant afternoon. How do you like to celebrate milestone birthdays? Leave me a comment below.

Finally we can say Spring is here! And now that the weather is finally warming up and the days are getting longer, I love to usher in the change of season with a new fragrance for my home.

PRIMARK in the UK never disappoints and I love their kids section! There is so much selection for girls and boys, big kids and little ones. I was able to procure some totally cute stuff for my big girl and the most adorable outfits for my little baby bear. We do have a PRIMARK open in Boston, and I must go visit there stat. Can they just open one in NYC please?

I especially love having a look through the gift shop located on the 2nd floor through the home furnishings section. I managed to pick up quite a few goodies for my family as well as a few memorabilia to remind me of my trip.
