We live in a historical home that was built in 1917. The house holds a lot of history, which I will get into in another blog post, but because of that historical significance I have been really unsure of painting…
Happy Easter Monday! Hope you’ve enjoyed a wonderful weekend with your loved ones. We kicked off our special Sunday by having an Easter egg hunt outside in our garden.
We then headed inside to decorate eggs with dye, emojis and decorative foam egg holders.
Then it was a quick outfit change and off to church to celebrate. I wore a navy and ivory lace dress paired with my new earrings from SugarFix by Baublebar, it was a perfect pairing.
Every year our church provide an Easter egg hunt for all the children and she always enjoys it!
We finished off with our traditional Easter dinner. Dinner this year was lamb marinated in onions, rosemary and thyme and then baked in the oven for a few hours after searing on the stove to a golden brown. English style roast potatoes and green beans and carrots provide the perfect accompaniment.
It was wonderful day spent with family and it was so gorgeous to see the cherry blossoms in our garden have bloomed just in time. I hope you had a lovely day too!
